Adventure R.I.B. Rides. If you think summer is too late for whale watching, it’s time to rethink. Adventure R.I.B. Rides offers year-round whale and dolphin watching. You can hop aboard an authentic Navy Seal Rigid Inflatable Boat and travel farther off the coast to observe blue whales. Powered by twin 150-horsepower engines, these babies zip across open water in nothing flat.
It’s part thrill ride, part sightseeing adventure, and the low profile of the boat makes it easy to approach all sorts of wildlife. Expect up-close encounters with dolphins that love to ride the bow wave and stern wake. Tours are limited to six passengers and the captain serves as naturalist. $65-$95. Mention this article and receive $5 off any public excursion.
Back Alley Tours. A plaque in the Gaslamp Quarter commemorates the spot where a San Diego mayor and police chief were caught climbing down a rubber tree to avoid being nabbed in a police raid on a brothel. That’s not the kind of history found in textbooks, but it’s the juicy dish that’s a specialty of Back Alley Tours.

San Diego Strip Clubs: With voters divided, GOP shows strength

April 16, 2010 at 8:13 pm | In San Diego strip clubs | No Comments

Reid’s latest strategy is to split the vote among several candidates and win with less than 50 percent of the vote. Nevada also has a none-of-the-above on every ballot, which might be very popular this year.
Even at last week’s most important Republican event this year, the Southern Republican Leadership Conference in New Orleans (held every four years before the midterm elections), nearly every speaker tried to relate to the Tea Party movement. The leader of the Republican Party (at least for the time being), Michael Steele, addressed the 3,500 attendees by apologizing for making mistakes.
Now, I don’t know whether those mistakes were spending enormous sums on private jets for the chairman’s travel or the repeated blunders of his fundraising team, who continue to agitate the party’s religious base by paying a $2,000 bar tab at a bondage strip club in Hollywood or allowing an 800 sex number to inadvertently be put on a party fundraiser mailer.

San Diego Adult Entertainment: Tea Party Crasher Revealed

He does have one or two ideas of merit such as taking responsibility rather than suing others, and that politicians shouldn’t make life-long careers of public service, but most of his ideas are thoroughly Leftist rot:
Doing drugs, prostitution, killing yourself: have at it!Everyone should be able to get married: two men, two women, three women and a man, dogs and cats, owls and gazelles: have at itEveryone should be provided with “free” health care, even if the government has to rob you and your neighbor to supply itKeep Christian moral influence out of our government which was founded by Christians for a Christian nation based on Christian principles; instead, govern our nation based on transient, amoral principles of convenienceWe must attack all evil countries or none at all especially if they weren’t involved in 911Allow any and all types of bilge to be broadcast on television

San Diego Adult Entertainment: Tea party activists rally in Fort Lauderdale

… I’ve got 15 grandkids and I want them to inherit an America that’s every bit as good as ours. The congress has turned into a bunch of spendaholics. We’ve got to make a change,” he said.
Shaw wasn’t on the program, but when organizers spotted the former congressman, they used him to introduce Allen West, the Republican candidate who’s trying to unseat U.S. Rep. Ron Klein — who defeated Shaw in 2006.
West and conservative radio talk show host Joyce Kaufman spoke in Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. She has no use for politicians, like Klein, who weren’t at the tea party events. “Vote out the losers who are not here today — every one of them,” Kaufman advised.
Besides politicians and average citizens, the West Palm Beach tea party featured a conservative celebrity: Hannah Giles, the woman who posed as a prostitute to uncover unsavory activities in the liberal group ACORN, which ultimately helped lead to the group’s near collapse.

San Diego Strip Clubs: Tea Party Rally Costs Taxpayers $14000

April 15, 2010 at 8:12 pm | In San Diego strip clubs | No Comments

The rally, held in Washington, D.C. last November, was “hosted” by Reps Michele Bachmann (MN), Tom Price (GA), Todd Akin (MO) and Steve King (IA). The reps split the bill of $13,600 (for a private company to arrange staging and a sound system).
The representatives used their official congressional member allowances to do so. While certainly unseemly for an anti-spending movement, it reportedly falls within the lines of the use of their budgets. Stan Brand, a former general counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives.said:
“Unless it’s billed as a campaign event, or campaign donations are solicited, or there’s a concerted program of endorsements for candidates based on party affiliation, I don’t think that they ran into any issues.”
However, this isn’t the only unseemly spending by the GOP brought to light of late. In late March, a GOP staffer was fired after a nearly $2,000 visit to a strip club.

San Diego Escorts: Liquor, guns a deadly mix in Stingaree district

Rose calmly pocketed his gun and walked out of the saloon only to run into police Sgt. Jose Cota, who happened to be riding by on his horse and had just heard the shot. “What happened?” he asked. “Nothing,” Rose replied. “Dan shot himself.”
Cota surveyed the scene inside and then instructed policeman James Harris to retrieve Rose. Cota would later find a cheap Harrington & Richardson .38-caliber revolver under Russian Mike’s pillow.
Sitting in a jail cell the next day, Russian Mike claimed to remember nothing: “I had no reasons for shooting Dan; he was one of the best friends I had in this world.” But Rose also would admit, “I must have done the shooting while I was too drunk to know what I was doing.”
A coroner’s jury of 11 men was summoned. After listening to the witnesses that included prostitutes and customers, the jury ruled: “Death resulted from a mortal wound, caused by a pistol shot fired from a pistol by Michael Rose, otherwise known as Russian Mike.”

Former sheriff’s detective sentenced to two years
Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 12:06 a.m.
Eduardo Contreras / Union-Tribune Thomas John Sadler, a former sheriff’s detective, reads a statement at his sentencing hearing Wednesday with his attorney, Mary Ellen Attridge.
SAN DIEGO COURTS Thomas John Sadler, a former sheriff’s detective, told a judge Wednesday that for most of his adult life he’d been a part of two families: one to which he was bound by blood or marriage, the other by his badge.
He broke his bond with the latter in February 2008, when he picked up a woman he knew was a prostitute and drove her to a Mission Valley parking lot.

“I can’t explain what came over me that day, your honor,” Sadler said in court, adding that he was suffering from stress after being passed over for a promotion. “I was a man and I saw a prostitute and I wanted to have sex. … I didn’t want to hurt her.”

San Diego Escorts: San Diego Opera welcomes ‘La Traviata’ conductor Renato Palumbo

April 15, 2010 at 12:37 am | In San Diego escorts | No Comments

Palumbo, who lives near Venice with his family, has conducted opera productions everywhere from London to Tokyo, Milan’s La Scala to Lyric Opera of Chicago. At San Diego Opera, he’s working with such accomplished singers as soprano Elizabeth Futral (who portrays Violetta, the party-loving courtesan transformed by love), tenor Marius Brenciu (as her lover, Alfredo) and baritone Alan Opie (as Germont, Alfredo’s disapproving father).
Between rehearsals the other day, Palumbo looked the part of a stylish modern maestro, especially in his sleek black leather jacket. His hand shake was firm; his eye contact, laser-like. He radiated the authority of someone accustomed to being in control.

You’re making your San Diego Opera debut in “La Traviata,” the poignant classic  about the romance between a party-loving courtesan and a young man from a very proper family.  Why do you think audiences love it so much?

San Diego Escorts: Paul V. Coates – Confidential File, April 14, 1960

April 14, 2010 at 5:25 pm | In San Diego escorts | No Comments

… Jan. 2, 1960:  Mr. R.H. of Pasadena complained he was overcharged in restaurant for two orders of inch-thick fried ham.  Bill was $6.75.  Booth attendant went with police officer and tourist to restaurant, confronted owner, who became indignant, claiming price was fair.  Owner refused to reduce bill, was given 15-day jail term.  Tourist was given $3.50 “refund” out of tourist bureau funds.
The men who run the tourist bureau do so with a rare realistic attitude.  They accept cases involving prostitutes and “French movies” as readily as cases involving overpricing, lost children or traffic accidents.
The bureau recovered $15 for a Peoria (Ill.) lady who wrote that she had paid for merchandise in a small Tijuana shop which was never mailed to her.  It recovered $10 for a Dayton (O.) man who claimed he was shortchanged in a restaurant, and, on the same day, it recovered $10 for a sailor who claimed a prostitute ditched him after taking his money.

SAN DIEGO—A San Diego County sheriff’s detective has been sentenced to two years in prison for assaulting a prostitute he picked up in his patrol car.
Thomas Sadler apologized to the judge as he was sentenced Wednesday. He was convicted in March of felony assault and battery by a peace officer and two misdemeanors. He was acquitted of felony sexual battery and false imprisonment.
Prosecutors say the married 20-year veteran picked up a prostitute in his unmarked police car in 2008 and drove her to a Mission Valley parking lot.
However, authorities say the 49-year-old Sadler changed his mind about having sex and struck the woman with his car door as he drove away. She wasn’t seriously hurt.
