San Diego Adult Entertainment: Local activist’s cross-country bike ride ends tragically

Colleen Uhden talked to her dad the day before he died. She just had a “feeling” she needed to answer his call.
“Something told me I needed to answer the phone and talk to him. His spirits were so high. He was so happy and he was saying how great the people he met were and how everyone was so supportive of him.”
Her father, Jim Gafney, had left his Chula Vista home on April 27 and been bike riding across the country ever since. His goal was to reach Washington D.C. and hand leaders a petition saying the people were tired of bailouts, big government, and the politics of Obama.
His petition named Democratic and Republican leaders as “Obama prostitutes” who would be voted “out” of office in 2010.
